At the facilities in Tel Aviv and Netanya, Women's League for Israel Inc (WLI) provides a home for needy youth and to encourage aliyah to Israel hand in hand with the Jewish Agency and its affiliates, and provide facilities for teaching Hebrew (ulpan). Tel Aviv compound also serves the municipality's family therapy center to counsel troubled families, and a meeting place for divorced parents and children. WLI continues its long time association with the Hebrew University in Jerusalem by continuing its established scholarship program for needy students. WLI also supports the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, by means of a substantial donation through American Friends of Rambam to establish the pediatric post traumatic syndrome treatment and the treatment of physically and sexually abused children unit. This enables WLI to fulfill its historic role to serve and care for the public in Haifa and Northern Israel.
