CancerCare provides professional support services including counseling, support groups, education workshops, publications, resource navigation, and financial and co-payment assistance for anyone affected by cancer.
About
Counseling and support groups - all of our professional oncology social workers hold a master's degree and are experts at helping people cope with cancer, manage emotions such as anxiety or sadness, improve communication with their health care team, and find reliable information and resources in their community. Counseling and face-to-face support groups are led by Cancer Care oncology social workers at our offices in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. Cancer Care also offers telephone and online support groups for those living outside of the New York tri-state area.
