Usdan provides young artists with the opportunity to joyfully express themselves through their creativity. Each summer, we welcome a diverse community of children and teens to Usdan's stunning campus in the woods.

About

Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts Summer Program is made up of 5 principal departments in the arts, as well as programs in nature, recreation and chess. These departments provide up to 1,600 students with daily classes, rehearsals, performance, and exhibition opportunities. The music department's compressive instructional program features concert bands, orchestras, jazz ensembles, and numerous choirs/chamber music ensembles. Performances are presented in studios and in the 900 seat Andrew and Lily McKinley Amphitheater. The theater department offers classes, rehearsals, and performances in the Lemberg Drama Center, a complex of theaters, teaching studios, sets, props, and costume shops. The art department consists of more than 2 dozen studios, a design center, and dedicated buildings containing kilns. Through the artist-in-residence program,students work & create art with world class artists, musicians & performers.
