About

The annual OrigamiUSA convention is a unique event bringing together over 400 paper folders and origami enthusiasts from all over the world. This includes 38 states across the USA and 12 countries across the globe, representative of the growing origami community. The event includes the opportunity to attend over 200 classes on models and techniques. Well-known authors of origami books teach many of these classes. All teachers are attendees who are volunteering their time to share their knowledge of origami. The convention also includes a world-class exhibition created from origami models provided by the attendees. This exhibition is open to the public, providing visitors and residents of New York City with the opportunity to see extraordinary works of art.
