Mission
The Animal Rights Alliance Inc., T.A.R.A., is addressing one of the greatest causes of animal suffering, pet overpopulation. Our mission is to reduce the number of stray, abandoned and unwanted cats and dogs from coming into a system that cannot hold them. This will stop the killing and create more good homes.

The organization operates a mobile stationary spay/neuter clinic that is staffed by five veterinarians and five veterinary technicians and services 5 counties in the lower Hudson Valley, New York. The organization helps to educate the public on animal protection and welfare, and has spayed/neutered over 130,000 cats and 15,000 dogs since its inception. The organization also provides vaccinations to cats and dogs in need.
