At Expectant Mother Care-EMC FrontLine Pregnancy Centers, our mission is to serve the most distraught and disadvantaged pregnant girls and women, in NYC and suburbs, through life-affirming and pro-chastity services. We currently operate from three fixed locations, and make referrals in 10 US cities. EMC provides free alternatives to abortion counseling, and education on pregnancy and abortion. Using licensed nurses we offer pregnancy and STI tests, and OB ultrasounds with certified ultrasound technicians, and we make arrangements for prenatal care, emergency and long term housing and adoption referrals, regardless of income. EMC also provides ongoing full room and board paid internships for young people to work with our paid staff in our life-saving work.
