MCC Theater’s mission is to provoke conversations that have never happened and otherwise never would. We fulfill our mission across three programmatic areas: annual productions of world, American, and New York premiere plays that challenge commonly held ideas; literary programming that supports the development of new work that asks challenging questions; and educational programming that inspires NYC public high school students to find and use their own voices.
