The mission of the Auxiliary of Gouverneur Hospital is to enhance and promote the health and welfare of the people residing on the lower east side of Manhattan.

The Auxiliary supports skilled nursing facility with their annual Chinese new year celebration, annual holiday celebration, and provides fund for translation services to residents and their family members of the skilled nursing facility. It also supports the departments of ambulatory care services with their annual patient holiday celebration and patient parties.
