On July 9, 2018 this grant was to support upgrades to the fire safety standard for the Museum of Cycladic Art's back of building, basement area, control room area, kitchen area, education lab and auditoriums on floors 5 & 6. Work to be done includes installation of fire rated doors, fire curtains, fire wall partitions, HVAC fire dampers, installation of complete new fire detection system and new powder and water fire extinguishing equipment.
