About
Road Recovery partnered with a small network of community-based organizations led by friends of Recovery-NY to support the development of a youth-led recovery movement across the state of New York called Youth Voices Matter-NY. Leading from behind, Road Recovery primarily consulted three youth leaders from the recovery community and supported NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS-OASAS) to develop, execute and sustain the Youth Voices Matter-NY movement in New York State to reach young people to support their efforts to build a youth-recovery network, and carry the message of hope and healing to young people. Road Recovery led the partners to establish and coordinate a youth and young adult advisory board and a statewide youth and young adult recovery network, greatly supported by live community 'pop-up' events and social media / digital marketing campaigns.
