Mouse is a national nonprofit that empowers all youth and educators to engage with computer science and creative technology to solve real problems and make meaningful change in our world. With a commitment to fostering greater equity, diversity and humanity in STEM, we bring together the people, programs and platforms necessary to meet the full range of creative computing needs, today and for our future. By combining youth and professional development, and connecting creative to computational thinking, we are empowering youth — and all those that educate them — to access and amplify technology as a force for good.

Youth Engagement/Mouse Design League:To deliver content, programs, events, and digital platforms that engage learners; build creative computing literacies through problem-solving, collaboration and iteration; leverage interests and playfulness to connect learners to new skills; and apply those skills to address local and global issues. Currently at 110.8% of goal to train 1,000 educators by June 2019Mouse Create Platform:FY19 showed a significant increase in depth of the student learning experience for sites that were active on the platform. Active users are completing more projects each, spending more time on the platform, and finishing work for entire courses. Evidence of this trend: 24% increase in earned badges (badges are pending when students complete several projects within a course but the educator did not issue the badge) 7.35% increase in # of sessions on Mouse Create per user 7.41% increase in the length of time each user spends on Mouse Create at a time 30% increase in total discussion 2% increase in submitted evidence per student
