Sanctuaries, Leon Levy Native Garden & Bylane Farm: Bedford Audubon's board and staff drafted and committed to the strategic vision of the organization's 5 priorities centered on membership, education, sanctuaries, facilities, and governance. Bedford Audubon's properties educate, empower, and engage visitors in creating bird-friendly and people-friendly communities. Volunteerism continues to grow, especially in the James Ramsay Hunt & Mary Welsh Parker Sanctuary and the Native Garden. We have created a teen council and have been engaging more youth in connecting with nature. The sanctuaries and native garden continue to be free and open to the public from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year.
