More about this organization
Mission
Assist in meeting the behavioral health needs of persons residing primarily in northern New York state. Assistance is provided in the form of planning and administrative coordination for a network of organizations that provide behavioral health care.
About
Health reform- in 2018, NCBHN became the lead agency and catalyst for developing the North Country Behavioral Health Care Collaborative (BHCC). It includes network providers and an additional 22 affiliate providers. This group was awarded 1.725 million in January 2018. It remained involved in facilitating meetings, selecting consultants, and establishing the collective governance structure which guides the BHCC organization. On March 1, 2018 NCM services signed a contract with Citizen Advocates, Inc. to provide project management services for the Eastern BHCC as they move forward with the development of a behavioral health independent provider association (IPA).
