To provide adults in central New York with the literacy tools and skills that they need to be contributing, productive, and engaged members of the community.
About
To promote and encourage increased literacy in Onondaga County by providing instruction to adults who have limited basic literacy skills and/or limited English proficiency; recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to provide literacy instruction to adults; and encouraging individuals, groups and organizations in the community to become involved in increasing literacy levels in the community. The organization's facility is leased by the SUNY Syracuse Educational Opportunity Center and the use of the facility is donated to the organization. The estimated fair rental value of the premises is $19,440.
