PowerBack is a teen dating abuse awareness initiative that operates in six high schools in NJ. In this fiscal year, we reached 5,585 teens at a forums and school-wide awareness events; provided 68 victims with support, resources and referral information; educated 377 adults (parents, guardians, teachers, and school administrators and clinical staff; and provided 23 individuals counseling sessions to eight teen victims. PowerBack is supported by the Victim Assistance Grant program, funded by the NJ Office of the Attorney General, Department of Law and Public Safety.
