Bishop Gorman Development Corporation raised funds to build Bishop Gorman High School, located at 5959 S. Hualapai Way, Las Vegas, Nevada. Building of the 36 acre campus with 187,000 square feet was substantially completed in 2007; the campus is leased to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas. Classes began in September 2007 with approximately 1,150 students, and current enrollment is approximately 1,500. Construction of the auxiliary gym, football stadium, and performing arts center was completed in 2008. In terms of total construction, the project was 100% complete at December 31, 2009. In March 2011, Bishop Gorman Development Corporation acquired 16 adjacent acres for expansion with funds provided by generous donors. In 2012 a 42,000 sq. ft. athletic training center was constructed on three (3) of the acquired acres. Additionally, in 2012, construction began on the north expansion of the campus on ten acres totaling 47,000 sq. ft. in three (3) buildings plus a practice field, additional parking and landscaped areas which provided an opportunity to increase enrollment to 1,500 students with funds provided by generous donors. Construction was completed in early 2013.
