THE DEPTFORD SOCCER ASSOCIATION IS COMPOSED OF VOLUNTEERS THAT STRIVE TO PROVIDE A YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAM AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL POSSIBLE FOCUSING ON THE IDEALS OF GOOS SPORTSMANSHIP, FAIR PLAY, AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY. CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT TO PROMOTE THE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE GAME OF SOCCER TO IMPROVE ONE'S SKILS AND TEAMWORK.

YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE PROGRAM. THE YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR KIDS FROM AGE 3 TO 17 YEARS OLD. OUR RECREATION PROGRAM WHICH IS A LEAGUE PLAYED WITHIN THE CLUB IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE OUR YOUNGEST KIDS A SAFE PLACE TO GROW AND LEARN THE SPORT OF SOCCER. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN U3 TO U12. THE PROGRAM HAS TWO SEASONS SPRING AND FALL. THE CLUB PROVIDES INSURANCE, FIELD MAINTENANCE, PREPARATION OF GAME FIELDS (PAINT, GOALS, CORNER FLAGS), SUPPLIES TO OUR COACHES (BALLS, CONES, PINNIES), UNIFORMS , AND THE COORDINATION FOR PRACTICE AND GAMES. OUR TRAVEL PROGRAM HAS TWO LEVELS TRAVEL LEAGUE AND PREMIER LEAGUE. THE TRAVEL LEAGUE PARTICIPATES IN THE SOUTH JERSEY SOCCER LEAGUE AND THE SOUTH JERSEY GIRLS SOCCER LEAGUE. OUR SEASONS FOR TRAVEL LEAGUE ARE SPRING AND FALL. THE CLUB PROVIDES MAINTENANCE FOR THE FIELDS, PREPARATION OF THE GAME FIELDS FOR PLAY (PAINT, GOALS, CORNER FLAGS), LIGHTS TO PRACTICE, INSURANCE, UNIFORMS FOR THE PLAYERS, AND REGISTRATION INTO THE LEAGUE. OUR PREMIER PROGRAM IS SIMILAR TO OUR TRAVEL LEAGUE. OUR PREMIER PROGRAM PLAYS IN THE EASTERN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (EDP). THIS LEAGUE IS REGIONAL AND INCLUDES TEAMS FROM THE ENTIRE STATE OF NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK. THE DESIGN OF THE PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE OUR MORE ADVANCED PLAYERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY AGAINST HIGHER LEVELS OF COMPETITION TO CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS.
