Mission

The mission of the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center is to heal the trauma of abuse to children and adults through prevention, support and services. The Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center (WKCAC) cooperates with local law enforcement and child protection agencies to conduct forensic interviews, connect families to services with advocacy, and helps children heal from the trauma of child abuse with therapy. Since 2004 we have worked with over 5,200 children in 34 western Kansas counties. Approximately 80% of the children we work with have been sexually abused and 2/3 of those children are 12 years old or younger.
