More about this organization

Mission

Voto latino recognizes that latino youth are the primary ‘influencers’ in their families and engages them with celebrity voices and the latest technology. We engage youth through peer-to-peer advocacy, multimedia platforms and key figures within the latino community including celebrities, business leaders and local radio dj’s. Civic engagement goes beyond just the voting booth and involves mobilization around multiple issues including the census and immigration reform.

About

Civic engagement: through voter education, registration, and get out the vote efforts, we encourage our audience of millennial latinos to make their voices heard in local and nationalelections. In 2017, voto latino worked to inform and register to vote latino millennials, their families, and their friends. Voto latino continued an aggressive online voter registration campaign, and carried out a national hispanic heritage month voter registration campaign called rise, and a local organizing campaigned, when the go low, we go local.
