BRYAN PHYSICIAN NETWORK ("PHYSICIAN NETWORK") PROVIDES QUALITY MEDICAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO NEBRASKA RESIDENTS AND IS AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT IN FULFILLING THE COMMITMENT OF ITS PARENT ORGANIZATION, BRYAN HEALTH, TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS IN OUR REGION THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH PHYSICIANS AND COMMUNITIES. PHYSICIAN NETWORK HAS SPECIALTY SERVICES TO MEET THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY THAT INCLUDE AREAS SUCH AS HIGH RISK PREGNANCY, NEONATAL ICU, PSYCHIATRY, TRAUMA, NEUROLOGY, BREAST & GENERAL SURGERY, INTERNAL MEDICINE AND FAMILY MEDICINE. PHYSICIAN NETWORK HAD MORE THAN 157,823 PATIENT ENCOUNTERS DURING 2018 AND PROVIDED HEALTH CARE TO MORE THAN 12,142 NEW PATIENTS. PHYSICIAN NETWORK IS COMMITTED TO OFFERING ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH CARE, INCLUDING PROVIDING CHARITY OR DISCOUNTED HEALTH CARE TO THE UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED POPULATION AND PERSONS COVERED BY GOVERNMENT SPONSORED HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS. In 2018, Bryan Physician Network provided charity care to 577 patients and served 6,535 medicaid patients. In order to meet the growing health care needs of the community, Bryan Physician Network welcomed 4 family practice physicians, 1 new OB/GYN, 3 new psychiatrists and 2 new neurologist during the 2018 tax year. In July 2018, Bryan Physician Network established Bryan NorthPointe Family Medicine which includes a team of three family practice physicians and four physician assistants.
