By donating on this page you are making an irrevocable contribution to Daffy Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and a subsequent donation recommendation to the charity listed above, subject to our Member Agreement. Contributions are generally eligible for a charitable tax-deduction and a yearly consolidated receipt will be provided by Daffy. Processing fees may be applied and will reduce the value available to send to the end charity. The recipient organizations have not provided permission for this listing and have not reviewed the content.
Donations to organizations are distributed as soon as the donation is approved and the funds are available. In the rare event that Daffy is unable to fulfill the donation request to this charity, you will be notified and given the opportunity to choose another charity. This may occur if the charity is unresponsive or if the charity is no longer in good standing with regulatory authorities.

About
IN 2018, WHOLE CHILD SUCCESSFULLY WON A FIVE YEAR, $4.9 MILLION USD GRANT FROM USAID TO SUPPORT THE EL SALVADOR GOVERNMENT TO STRENGTHEN ITS CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM. WHOLE CHILD INVESTED HEAVILY IN ITS ADMINISTRATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE AND HIRED A COUNTRY DIRECTOR IN EL SALVADOR AS WELL AS A CHIEF OF PARTY (PROJECT DIRECTOR) IN ADDITION TO FINANCIAL, ADMINISTRATIVE, MONITORING & EVALUATION, AND TECHNICAL STAFF. WHOLE CHILD ALSO BOUGHT ALL THE ASSETS AND MATERIALS FOR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION, INCLUDING 6 VEHICLES, COMPUTERS AND FURNISHINGS FOR THE NEW OFFICE. WHOLE CHILD WENT THROUGH A RIGOROUS PROCESS TO IDENTIFY AND CONTRACT US ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS TO HELP DEVELOP AND REFINE ITS FLAGSHIP ASSESSMENT TOOL, THE QCUALS. THE QCUALS WILL BE USED IN THE USAID PROJECT IN 2019. SIMILARLY, WHOLE CHILD PREPARED THE FOUNDATION FOR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION, INCLUDING DEVELOPING PLANS WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TO MAP THE ENTIRE CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM IN EL SALVADOR. THE WHOLE CHILD STAFF WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF EL SALVADOR AND TRAVELED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY TO PRESENT THE OUTLINES OF THE PROJECT AND ENSURE BUY-IN FOR ALL FUTURE ACTIVITIES. WHOLE CHILD ALSO SIGNED AN AGREEMENT WITH ISNA, THE SALVADORAN EQUIVALENT OF THE SALVADORAN CHILD WELFARE DEPARTMENT, TO SECOND TWO STAFF TO WHOLE CHILD. THIS IS A MASSIVE ELEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AND ENSURING CONTINUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROJECT IMPACT.
