Our mission is to empower those impacted by violence and foster healthy relationships. We serve five counties in southeast Montana and teachers provide our violence prevention curriculum in middle schools nationwide.

DSVS provided emergency shelter, transitional housing, transportation, food/clothing, 24 hour help line support, crisis intervention, legal advocacy, professional counseling/therapy, and education for 202 women, children, and men (victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking). These services are provided by DSVS staff and our core of helpline volunteers. Volunteers provided 6,473.5 hours to DSVS in 2018. In 2018, we opened an office in Columbus, MT with a part time advocate to serve survivors in Stillwater County. We have continued to provide emergency financial assistance to survivors in Park, Sweet Grass, and Meagher counties through our partnership with Aspen.
