Mission

Mission: to promote the well being of Asian American seniors and other adults who are disadvantaged by their language and cultural barriers. Vision: PASSi will be the premier provider of supportive services for Asian American seniors and other adults for their personal healthcare, vocational training and other beneficial programs. We will expand employment and economic opportunities for the region’s immigrant population and will respond to emerging needs in the designated community. We will strengthen service programs and always be responsive and focused on the community needs with humanity, respect and compassion.

About

In 2018 the organization served 754 clients who were low-income frail elderly and disabled adults, mostly with limited English proficiency. Under its home health care division, 632 home-bound clients were served in their own ethnic languages. And additional 132 Asian elderly were served in its adult day care center which was opened in May 2014. Under its vocational training program, six (7) home health aide training sessions were conducted which were attended by 86 students. And two (2) certified nurse training aide classes were conducted with 31 successful graduates.
