Miles of Smiles, Inc provides dental care to 5,252 low-income children who are Clay or Platte County residents. Procedures completed are 46 preventive, 31 diagnostic, 20 restorative, and 3 surgical. Over 68 of returning patients had reduced cavities. The organization provides dental care in community-based settings such as schools, social service agencies, churchs, or other non-profit settings where children are able to be treated on their portable equipment.
