About

GYLI operates experiential travel programs for high school students and k-12 teachers in a variety of locations and settings. We offer a 3-year sequence for HS students that takes them to 3 locations over the 3 summers of high school: a tall ship in (CT or CA) after 9th grade; a mountain retreat center in New Mexico after 10th grade; and an environmental university in Costa Rica after 11th grade. GYLI also offers custom programs for schools such as on campus workshops, and travel programs to US destinations for 8th and 9th grade classes. Finally, GYLI offers a program for educators in the Dominican Republic which helps them learn about the history of North America.
