Mission
My New Red Shoes (MNRS) works to improve the quality of life and well-being of children and youth experiencing economic hardship. At the core of our work is the belief that every child deserves to live a healthy and productive life. Since our founding in 2006, we have helped to meet the basic needs of more than 100,000 children and youth across the SF Bay Area children by delivering necessities (shoes, clothing and other basics) and providing economic assistance to stabilize vulnerable households.
About
My New Red Shoes works to improve the quality of life and well-being of children and youth by reducing the impact of inequality in the communities we serve. In 2019, MNRS helped to meet basic needs and promote a sense of belonging for more than 11,000 school-age children and youth by providing new shoes or clothing for school. Since 2006, MNRS programs have benefitted nearly 90,000 students and their families in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
