By donating on this page you are making an irrevocable contribution to Daffy Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and a subsequent donation recommendation to the charity listed above, subject to our Member Agreement. Contributions are generally eligible for a charitable tax-deduction and a yearly consolidated receipt will be provided by Daffy. Processing fees may be applied and will reduce the value available to send to the end charity. The recipient organizations have not provided permission for this listing and have not reviewed the content.
Donations to organizations are distributed as soon as the donation is approved and the funds are available. In the rare event that Daffy is unable to fulfill the donation request to this charity, you will be notified and given the opportunity to choose another charity. This may occur if the charity is unresponsive or if the charity is no longer in good standing with regulatory authorities.

Mission
Explore Ecology inspires our community to engage with the natural world, think critically and experience the value of environmental stewardship. Programs include Art From Scrap, the Watershed Resource Center, Environmental Education and School Gardens for youth in 36 elementary schools in Santa Barbara County.
About
Over 800 environmental lessons were conducted by Explore Ecology staff for approximately 20,000 people, nearly all students. An additional 10,000 elementary age students were educated through Explore Ecology's school gardens program. Lessons focus on waste diversion (reduce, reuse, recycle and compost), water quality, school gardens and nutrition. Explore Ecology students are encouraged to conduct service learning projects at their schools and in their communities. Environmental lessons are presented to groups from local schools, after school and summer camp groups, as well as some groups of college students and adults. Through the environmental education program, Explore Ecology helps local governments and school districts reach their goals of educating the community about waste reduction.
