Mission
The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition works to transform San Francisco's streets and neighborhoods into safe, just, and livable places by promoting the bicycle for everyday transportation.
About
In 2018, the SFBC Education Fund continued to step up its programs to educate bicyclists about safe riding, as well as reaching out to motorists about safe driving. We continued to grow the city's safe routes to school program, working closely with the SF Department of Public Health and other partners, to reach elementary school age children almost 100 local schools with the message of safe walking and biking. We also organized and led the city's seventh annual bike to school day with approximately 4,000 people participating.
