To provide opportunities for at-risk children in the city of Madison, Wisconsin & surrounding areas to participate in the game of golf by providing adult mentors, free professional instruction, equipment & golf course & range access; to combat juvenile delinquency & encourage the development of life skills by providing a recreational outlet to such at-risk children through the promotion of the game of golf.

During 2018, 1,133 youths participated in meetings twice a week for ten weeks for golf instruction and 9-hole rounds of golf with adult mentors, learning skills such as respect, responsibility, integrity, confidence, and sportsmanship. Meetings were held at nine summer sites. Another 16,000 youth received life skills training through the game of golf in programs offered at 40 elementary schools in Madison, Janesville and Wisconsin Rapids. In addition, an after school learning center at 4 locations served approximately 200 youth.
