About

Mid-South Sculpture Alliance (MSA) is a non-profit arts organization which is supported by its one hundred plus members and is dedicated to the creation and awareness of sculpture in its many and varied forms. MSA awarded ten scholarships for outstanding achievement. The award consisted of a $1000 cash award, a free one-year membership, and a speaking and exhibition opportunity at the MSA Sculpture Confab. The MSA Confab: Intercepting the Waste Stream, was a two day event featuring speaker Aurora Robson, presentations by scholarship winners, a tour of Branch Technologies and the scholarship exhibition opening in Chattaooga, Tennessee. In addition, MSA undertook two juried exhibitions in 2019. The first, Women in Sculpture featured outdoor sculptures of six women artists installed around Chattanooga, Tennessee. The second, MSA Select was a juried indoor exhibition hosted at the City Gallery in Lexington Kentcky. The Riverwalk Exhibition which was installed in 2017 was still on display during 2018 and featured ten sculptures that will be on display through 2019.
