Mission

Our mission is to rescue dogs from high kill shelters in California as well as international homeless dogs through our Freedom Flyer program. We've become one of the few cocker spaniel rescue organizations willing to take on dogs with major medical needs (dogs hit by cars, dogs in need of back surgery, ear ablation surgery or knee surgery). For these dogs, Camp Cocker is often their only hope. Once rescued, there is a thorough vetting process to determine medical care needs. After treatment we evaluate their behavior to determine what type of home they might flourish in & find them the most appropriate adopters. It truly takes a village to rescue just one dog & we so appreciate your donations.
