The Female Benevolent Association of Mount Holly is a non profit tax exempt 501 c 3 organization that helps families who have difficult personal circumstances and need temporary financial help to get back on their feet. The Female Benevolent Association of Mount Holly, NJ began its efforts to help needy persons who were not 'under the care of the overseer of the poor' in 1814. Nearly two hundred years later, we continue to help working families who are trying their best to be contributing members of society. One of the values of the Female Benevolent Association is to, 'spare the 'modest blush' by helping persons privately, and our assistance is strictly confidential. Persons who live in the catchment areas of Rancocas Regional High School are eligible for support. Families are referred through local contacts often within the public schools. At monthly meetings 24 volunteer members meet to determine how assistance would give by discreet two member visiting committees. Volunteers join T
