About

The electrostatic discharge association is a voluntary professional association founded in 1982 to advance the theory and practice of electrostatic problem solving. With more than 2,000 members in 20 countries worldwide, the esda is now the forum for electrostatic discharge (esd) control and associated phenomena. Our initial focus on esd control for electronic components has expanded to the esda becoming the recognized global leader in serving the industry in the field of electrostatic mitigation.
