PEI Kids is dedicated to promoting and maintaining a safe environment for all children. PEI Kids works with the child, family and caregiver to provide prevention, intervention and advocacy programs relating to personal safety, sexual abuse and the over all well being of the child.

Juvenile Intervention programs - Run hand-in-hand with local law enforcement, Mercer County Juvenile Probation Department, and Family Court, PEI Kids' Juvenile Intervention programs help at-risk Mercer County youth reduce recidivism, avoid further justice system involvement, and become more productive citizens. Programs serve juvenile offenders who are on probation for entry-level offenses using a 16-week curriculum. Participants aged 11 through 17 receive violence prevention and conflict resolution skills, gang prevention education, tolerance and critical thinking skills, and training in respect for authority. Program graduates demonstrate reduced recidivism and increased communication, interpersonal and job readiness skills.
