Human Life Services is a life affirming Christ-centered pregnancy care organization serving York through medical services, peer counseling, education and community referrals.
About
This program provides education, support, mentoring and community referrals to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy. This service also provides information regarding a woman's alternatives regarding her pregnancy decision, which include abortion, parenting or adoption. During the 2018 calendar year there were 773 client appointments for mentoring provided to 189 individual clients. Help was also given by handing out 591 dozen diapers, 99 cans of formula and other infant supplies for new mothers. Emergency clothing was provided to 6 clients. Unplanned, pregnancy, emergency-type materials were handed out during the year to 65 men and women.Evidence-based medical information was provided to 141 women and Post-Abortion support services were also provided to 2 women. There were 94 babies born to clients in 2018 and 48 Bibles were handed out.
