The child care program provides developmentally appropriate activities including arts programming and daily structured physical activity. The program has two components: 3.9 years to 5.9 years and 6 years to 12 years. The curriculum is developed and implemented with attention to developmental standards and family involvement as well as the child's individual needs. For older children, assignment to age appropriate groupings takes into consideration current school grade assignments. Both programs are staffed by Early Education and Care Certified (EEC) staff. Homework help and tutoring, arts programming, science club, reading program, tennis, computer lab access, music enrichment, and daily gym activities are included. The summer months also include swimming at the Flaherty Pool (City of Boston municipal pool), one or more offsite field trips, some interaction with the 'Boston ROCKS' summer activities programs, interaction with the 'Read Boston' and other reading programs, science activities and more.
