Child Care Works Program: CCC administers this Department of Human Services funded program to (a) assist low-income families living in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties with the cost of child care, (b) assist families, regardless of income, in understanding Pennsylvania's publicly-funded early education system and in locating and evaluating appropriate early childhood programs for their children, and (c) implementing Keystone Stars by processing applications, providing information, offering Stars orientation workshops, assisting providers in the self-study process, and designating providers with a star level by determining that they have met all of the performance standards.
