Mission
DSN Community Center’s mission is to provide a healthy, exciting and social environment for youth, teens, adults and seniors through daily fitness, educational, recreational and sports programs, while promoting the important values of community and leadership. Our programs are deeply connected to the traditions of our Sephardic community.
About
Established in 2007, DSN has developed into a fully functional organization with hundreds of our children participating weekly in Sunday programs, sports leagues, trips, holiday events and much more. DSN`s efforts are geared from Pre-School youth through Adult.
The extraordinary volunteer base of parents has helped grow DSN very rapidly , permeating a buzz in the community that has not been felt in over 20 years. DSN has become the life of Deal to the point that it is rare to find a family in our community that has not been impacted by it.
Our sports leagues include baseball and softball in the spring, flag football and soccer in the fall, as well as basketball in the winter. Our Basketball and dodgeball tournaments are top-rated events in the summer. Our programs take place on Sundays and Fridays after-school throughout the year and include baking , crafts, music, dance, magic, field trips and much more.
DSN works with Hillel Yeshiva and Bikur Holim on many events. It serves the Brooklyn community as well through its summer programs and its strengthening partnership with the SCC.
In 2014, DSN established its own 30,000 square foot DSN Community Center in the heart of our community, with a state-of-the-art Fitness Center, basketball gymnasium, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, game room, lounge, multiple exercise studios, multi-purpose room and cafe.
