About

HEALTHY LIVING - THE YMCA IS A LEADING VOICE ON HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. WE BRING FAMILIES CLOSER TOGETHER, ENCOURAGE GOOD HEALTH AND FOSTER CONNECTIONS THROUGH FITNESS, SPORTS, FUN AND SHARED INTERESTS. AS A RESULT, PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY ARE RECEIVING THE SUPPORT, GUIDANCE AND RESOURCES THEY NEED TO ACHIEVE GREATER HEALTH IN SPIRIT, MIND AND BODY. THIS IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT AS OUR NATION STRUGGLES WITH AN OBESITY CRISIS, FAMILIES STRUGGLE WITH WORK/LIFE BALANCE AND INDIVIDUALS SEARCH FOR PERSONAL FULFILLMENT. OUR YMCA MEETS THESE NEEDS BY PROVIDING PROGRAMS SUCH AS PINK COMPLETE - BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR PROGRAM, KNIGHTS OF THE 21ST CENTURY - MEN'S CHRISTIAN ROLE MODEL PROGRAM, AND MENTOR A MOTHER - PROVIDING MEMBERSHIPS FOR TEEN MOTHERS. OUR YMCA PARTNERS WITH OUR HOMELESS SHELTERS TO PROVIDE A SAFE OUTLET FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO COME AND BE PART OF THE Y FAMILY. WORKING WITH THE CITY OF LEBANON, WE REACH OUT TO NEIGHBORHOOD PLAYGROUNDS AND PROVIDE STAFF MONITORING AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE NEIGHBORHOODS.
