Our mission is to provide therapeutic exercise in various forms always emphasizing ability and maintaining an environment of respect and trust for our riders, volunteers and horses.

About

Pegasus provides equine assisted activities to people with disabilities serving both children adults. Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1982, this unique program utilizes the horse and its movement to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Pegasus partners with horses, utilizing their movement the important bond between horse rider, to promote improved physical emotional well-being and independence for individuals with disabilities. Pegasus provides therapeutic exercise in various forms, always emphasizing ability maintaining an environment of respect trust for our riders, volunteers, horses. Therapeutic riding has many components, including physical, psychological, recreational, as well as educational. Our facilities include a state of the art indoor riding arena that permits year round operation. We currently have 15 therapy horses of varied sizes breeds. Program staff consists of two full time employees nine part time employees. Pegasus is a PATH Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International Premier Accredited Center.
