The corporation was incorporated for the purpose of raising funds to be used for maintaining, preserving, and improving the historic buildings, artifacts and burial grounds which are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and which are owned by the rector, church wardens, and vestrymen of St. Peter's Church in the city of Philadelphia, as well as preparing, publishing, and disseminating written and oral material pertaining to the history of the historic property.
