Mission

The mission of the Adamstown Library is to maintain and improve the quality of life in our community by providing access to cultural, intellectual, and informational resources and programs to promote life-long learning for all ages. The public library services Adamstown Borough, Denver Borough, Brecknock Township, East Cocalico Township and West Cocalico Township in northeastern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

About

The library continues to offer innovative programming and services that engage and educate residents of all ages in our community. We are aware of the fact that many of our underserved families think of this library as their lifeline for many of our services such as family place, one-on-one computer training, and internet & reading/information services. Family place workshops are especially significant for this group for its ability to interact with professionals about child development, expose toddlers & parents to play that promotes literacy and brain development. STEM & STEAM programs are flourishing at the library with our new partnership with Cocalico School District's science teachers. We have also enjoyed a record number of children at our early literacy reading programs.
