Neighborhood Bike Works provided out-of-school activities to over 500 youths in Philadelphia. Through bike riding and bike repair programming that builds confidence and life skills. Youth ages 8 to 18 learn basic bike repair skills and safe urban bicycling techniques through our earn-a-bike and ride club programs, drop-in sessions, summer camp, and monthly group bike rides. Additionally, through our ride club and summer camp, youth were exposed to the region's circuit trails and were exposed to watershed education topics. In total, throughout the fiscal year, youth participants spent over 2500 attendance days and rode their bike over 5,000 miles in NBW's programs.
