The charitable mission of the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lower Merion and Narberth (Narberth Ambulance) is to provide high quality pre-hospital care and medical transportation for the communities we serve. We recognize that each patient has individual healthcare needs and believe it is our responsibility to treat them with compassion and dignity. We strive at all times to foster a collaborative, supportive, and respectful environment for our career and volunteer staff as well as the agencies with which we interact.

Narberth Ambulance is a combination of volunteer and career emergency personnel. Narberth Ambulance provides 911 emergency medical services to the township of Lower Merion and the Boroughs of Narberth, Conshohocken and West Conshohocken. Narberth Ambulance is an organization built on the countless hours of work from its volunteers and career staff, working together for over seventy-five years. Growing from one station with 2 ambulances into an EMS service incorporating 4 stations, 9 ambulances, 3 responder vehicles & 1 Mass Casualty / Rehab bus. Narberth Ambulance now responds to over 10,000 calls a year. Today, the staff includes over 30 full time and 40 part time employees and over 70 volunteers, continuing to give time & service to the residents of Lower Merion, Narberth, Haverford, Conshohocken & West Conshohocken.
