The mission of the Bucks County Opportunity Council is to reduce poverty and partner with the community to promote economic self-sufficiency.

Food program: The food program garners the support of the entire community of Bucks County including businesses, farming, agriculture, education, United Way, private donors, and county government to provide ample nutritious food to low income individuals and families in Bucks County through over 69 food distribution sites. In FY19, more than 82,000 visits were made to the food network by families in need. Through our community collaborations, we greatly increased the amounts of fresh produce being distributed to people in need to improve the health and well-being of the low income community.
