The Wallace Award Dinner is to recognize the extraordinary diversity of contribution that Scots have made to the world and to recognize one or more living citizens or residents of the US of Scottish descent for their individual contributions to the well being of the USA. Also to recognize either Scots or Americans who have made an important contribution to the American/Scottish relationship.
