Mission

The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) provides music and art programs, camps, workshops, free concerts and events for communities across the Bay Area. CSMA is dedicated to inspiring and nurturing creativity in people of all ages and skill levels. Financial aid and program subsidies ensure access to the arts for all.

About

The school offers private music lessons, classes, ensembles, workshops/camps, and master classes for over 2,000 students, taught by a distinguished, international faculty of 65 on over 20 instruments. The school also offers a wide variety of concerts and lectures in Tateuchi Hall. Corporate arts program: the corporate arts program offers quality music lessons and art classes directly to employees during the work day, giving them the opportunity to recharge, refocus and re-energize through a creative experience.
