To provide low-income housing for the elderly. There are 250 apartments that house approximately 270 qualifying people. The center is in the process of developing a strategic master plan for the future that includes the following objectives: (1) to continue to provide safe affordable housing on site, (2) provide upgraded amenities, (3) expand affordable housing to the elderly, (4) add other affordable housing and mixed uses consistent with neighborhood plan, and (5) be good stewards of the center's land.
