Mission

The mission of the Delray Beach Historical Society is to preserve the city's archives and historic sites, to educate the community about Delray's heritage and to encourage public interest in the historic past of Delray Beach. The society accomplishes this goal by collecting, preserving and cataloging material and data pertaining to the history of Florida and the Delray Beach area. The material collected includes books, pamphlets, letters, photographs and other documents. The society also preserves and restores historically significant buildings in Delray Beach.
