Mission
The NCLT is a community land trust that serves Northern California with a focus on the inner bay area. We provide a mix of permanently affordable Community Land Trust ownership housing, cooperative housing, rental housing and community facilities such as non-profit office space, and community gardens through our community land trust model.

The creation and operation of permanently affordable housing for diverse low income households in Northern California.NCLT provided, developed, stewarded and/or directly operated over 110 units of affordable housing for low and very low income households in Berkeley, Oakland, East Palo Alto and San Francisco in the Community Land Trust model using limited equity condos, affordable rentals, and cooperatives.
